Key to your skin’s healing speed and to reduce scarring is to avoid a scab forming over the affected area. Apply CRASH CREAM to the area (Do not apply to a gaping or open wound. Go get stitches! Then apply CC) liberally so it does not dry out.

Cover the area with a bandage or, if long-term healing is needed, a sterile plastic film like Saran Wrap. Change the covering often and replace it with a new sterile bandage or wrap. We found with plastic film applying CC to the film, then putting the film on the wound to be effective and an easy way to spread the ointment over the wound without pain or introducing a dirty finger to the injury.
